Selling online question

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FL
I'll try to make this short! About 5 years ago I ordered a guitar amp that took a very long time to make it to my house. Eventually, it made it. Tagging along with it was another box that I did not order. It was completely filled electronic equipment. I called Airborne Express and they said they would pick up the box the next day and they made good on that. About a month later my boss phones me at home to say a package arrived at work...I didn't order anything! You guessed it...theres that box again. This time when I called Airborne Express that said, "Sir, that is your box!" At this point I tried to see if there was any address that I could find, order slips, etc. The only thing I could find was on one of the partials there was the company that makes the batteries for 2 way radios. The rest of the equipment was 2 way brick radios. The battery company said they would love to have those back but I wanted to entire box gone. I think whomever this package was got their insurance claimed, and the battery company was looking to recoup. Current day...forgot about this damn box and I need to get rid of it. Can I legally sell its contents, or should I continue to try and find it's owner??
Thanks in advance!

No one is looking for whatever it is. No one.

That's what I was thinking as well. I asked an "officer of the law" friend and he said "what are you waiting for...sell it!" Still feels wrong as this isn't mine but really the only other option would be place it by the street and let someone else sell it all! Thanks!

These are the 2 way handhelds? If you still feel uneasy about selling them, why not donate?
A local Search & Rescue, or Volunteer Fire Dept...a hiking club...maybe get a nifty tax write-off for yourself.
