    Angry Mom

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas
Someone who I thought was a friend took pictures of my kids to start her photography website and I let her take their pictures and post them but never signed anything giving her permission. She has since caused my husband to loose part of his job due to false accusations and I would like her to take the pictures off her website. I have emailed her site to ask her to take them off and wanted to see what I could do if she does not remove them. Please do not call me on this matter as we are being very cautious as to who and what we say on the phone. I would just like a free answer to my question so I know where to go and what to do if she does not remove them.

Since you posted this under "Open Technical Issues and Requests (Not Legal Questions)", I have to assume that you are having problems sending the email to her website.

You can check with the DNS entries for an email address for the website owner. Google 'whois' for more information.

Another note: If you gave her permission to take the pictures, she's doing nothing wrong by posting HER pictures on HER website.

You do realize that you posted your question in the NOT LEGAL QUESTIONS section of the forum right?
Now Serving at FA on the Roof - The Funsucker. Our feature drink, created by Senior Member, Tranquility, contains sour lemons, muddled with poor grammar and topped off with wry.
