Can a member join without asking a question?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

LOL..I think you'll find I've posted once or twice before.

Are you talking about being logged in without making a post?

    What?

I'll see all these members join (alot in the evening it seems) yet no post.
And yes Prosperina I read most of your posts
The "new member" it seems never asks a question- if that makes sense.

I think you mean folk will log in, yet don't seem to post during any given time period?

Some members don't log out at all.

Some members log in and out as their schedules dictate.

Many members read a thread and feel either the question has already been answered or perhaps they cannot answer the question themselves. Many just 'lurk'.

Am I missing your question, KF?

Registering does not mandate you actively participate in the board. Some people just like to read and learn.

What you cannot do is violate the terms of the board. For example, spammers are reported and banned.
