The answer to both is a resounding "no". If it helps you understand it better, consider this board to be a coffee shop. Many such shops have signs posted (though they are not required to be posted by any means and are still entitled to the right) that they have the right to refuse service to anybody. They do not need a reason, they can simply demand that somebody needs to leave, even if they have done nothing wrong, and they are legally obligated to leave. Likewise, even if somebody in the coffee has done something wrong, the shop is not required to kick the person out of the store.
You can be banned for any reason, or no reason at all. Consider message boards to be the online equivalent of private property.
The only thing worse than getting into an argument about politics is getting into an argument because you refuse to argue politics.
Good, I'll get a coffee refill.
CG was successful for now...let's see if it becomes permanent upon his return.

I'm buying the next round of drinks. Hey let's not allow this perfectly good thread to go to waste
HIJACK TRIVIA time. Aside from Abbot & Costello who used to do the "Slowly I turn, step by step, inch by inch.." skit.
As a bonus, please tell me what word triggered the line?
Monkeys? The 'no see, no hear, no speak' monkeys? They probably have a name, but I'm at a loss.
ETA: Oh, duh, I just googled it.... I agree, CG does rather fit the description.

No it isn't. It is a joke link. I will delete it anyway though since you objected.
-tranquility "I saw mitchellsden farkeling repeatedly on October 10"
It is pretty amazing that our society has reached a point where the effort necessary to extract oil from the ground, ship it to a refinery, turn it into plastic, shape it appropriately, truck it to a store, buy it and bring it home, is considered less effort than what it takes to just wash the spoon, when you are done with it.
I know. I was a Global Mod on another site for many years. I also realize others don't always "get" my humor though.

My initials were CG for a lot of years; I jump every time I see that reference.
Two things I am tired of typing: 1.) A wrongful termination does not mean that you were fired for something you didn't do; it means that you were fired for a reason prohibited by law. 2.) The above answer, whatever it is, assumes that no legally binding contract or CBA expressly says otherwise. If it does, the terms of the contract apply.
