    Dual Power Of Attorney

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

    New Hampshire.

There is major issues with regard to my brother's palliative care and the lack of proper and viable choices and decisions imposed by the "current" DPOA.

My brother is dying of Squamous Cell Carcinoma and is in a great deal of pain. There is a great deal of neglect in meeting the mandatory requirements by law from those involved in the primary position of imposing various pro-active decisions on my brother's behalf.

The facility for which he is admitted is a nursing home, Genesis.

As an Intermediate Adocate, I am greatly disturbed by the lack of dignity and incompetent behavior from those in charge of my brother's care, including his primary DPOA.

In my research I have found an appalling amount of unprofessional directives, miscommunication, contradictions, platitudes and placations in the attempt to shun legal accountability and/or responsibility.

What rights do I have to oversee certain decisions as an Intermediate caretaker, and is it possible for me to establish a "Dual POA" if the Primary initiates a defensive stance against my intervention?

    Please advise!

    Thanks,
    Timothy

No need for the attitude - please post in the correct section so the people who are knowledgeable in that area can help you. It's unreasonable to expect the people who volunteer on this board to go through each and every posting to find those where they can offer assistance - that's why there are categories. It narrows down the area of expertise.
