    Engagment Ring

    What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? SC
    My finace has not been calling or seeingme as a normal relationship should progress. He refuses to make any wedding plans and has be recieveing calls from other women. Friday night he came over, I let him in. While I was on the phone he went pstairs with a trash bag, took all his clothes along with my engagement ring. Is this Grand Larceny? And if so, what is the penalty? What is my next step?
