    Inheritance/child support

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

    Tennessee law

Under Tennessee law, I know that under estate laws, back child support must be paid before all other claims on the estate. Here is my question:

Because there is not sufficient money in escrow to pay ALL claimants until some property of the estate is sold, but there IS sufficient money to pay child support owed, (which must be paid first), am I entitled to demand that the funds are distributed BEFORE the other property is sold?

It has been more than 4 years since the estate was opened, they seem to be stalling in selling things VERY slowly.

FYI, this is the wrong forum for this question. this is for tech issues in regards to the forum.

try the child support forum, or the Wills and Probate section.
