    Invalid "Terry frisk"

I"m curious as to why the "Invalid "Terry frisk" thread was closed.

Really, there was a continuation of polite discussion (Even if parts are a bit more aggressive.) and, based on the OP's response, there were still legitimate legal issues to discuss.

If the person who closed the thread does not respond as to why, I'm done.

Not that that is a great loss, but, I think it is a loss. Randomness doesn't really make for productive discussion. Explain. Please. I understand it is your list and that you have the right to decide, but, I don't see the value of the closing.

it was becoming argumentative. The legal issues, from what I saw, were addressed and the OP was simply arguing. He had taken his position and that was that regardless what anybody else said. At that point, there really is nothing more to explore.

I also as the OP don't believe this thread should have been closed. It appeared to me it was closed because one person was bored by it. That person also offered nothing of any value either way to the thread, only one liners, and insults.

Since both people who were actively debating the issue believe there was more to discuss, is there any way to get this unlocked?

    Thanks,

    Roger

Guys, I for one am sorry to see this was closed. That was an honestly good debate. It isn't very common for such a long debate to stay civil. It was a difference of opinion mixed with technical legal issues. That's when things start to get good. Hopefully it can be opened again. I looked forward to seeing what was posted under that thread everday. Dave

    Admin,

Three people from both sides of this debate have now asked that it be reopened.

No, I am, in effect, saying that this ain't a democracy. Admin felt fit to lock the thread.

Fair enough, but when you read the last post in the thread, and realize it was closed within minutes..... You just may have more sway than you think, or admit to.

It was closed because admin felt it was proper. I've reported more than a few posts/threads that the admin disagreed with me over...

Why report a thread you never had a meaningful post in? Why not just choose to view a different thread? Obviously there were people that thought this topic warranted further discussion, as evidenced by the fact it wasn't even me who started this thread.
