its easy, go to the thread you started, scroll to the bottom of your post, there will be 2 options, edit and quote. click edit, and edit it.

(The issue here is timing, not the fact that it was locked).

OP, generally you only have a limited time when you yourself can lock, unlock, edit or delete your posts.
