    Sergeant Munley

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)TX

I'm not always a big fan of the police, but Sergeant Munley is scary awesome.

She heard shots. She ran towards them because of her training and her desire to help. She sees the shooter and starts firing with accuracy. She gets shot. SHE KEEPS GOING TOWARDS THE BAD GUY TRYING TO STOP HIM FROM MURDERING OTHERS and does so. There are many people who protect us. She is one.

Allahu akbar. A call of truth or a call of murder. I'm grateful some such as the Sergeant know the difference.

I think a lot of the police departments have realized they can't stand outside and talk it out with the bad guys. They now rush in and try to control the situation as quickly as possible.

Sgt. Munley did exactly how she was trained. However, training is one thing - executing that training must be so second-nature that there is no hesitation. She saved a lot of lives that day. She kept shooting even though she was shot. That takes guts, stellar training, and strong character. Good for her!

Yes. She had specific training to go and resolve shooting incidents. Go forward. Take charge. Shoot the bad guy. Not just secure and wait, go forward and stop.

Still, I think everyone would give a muilligan if she stopped and cried about how she was SHOT. I cry if I get an owie from a too-hot pizza or a paper cut. I think I'm tough but don't know if I'd keep going. I think I might hide behind a rock and call for a back-up. But, I'm not a hero like the Sergeant.

    Women cops. They rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
