why was my thread locked?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? KANSAS

Only two people can lock your thread: you and the forum moderator. If you didn't lock it, then the moderator must have thought the topic has run its course.

I suppose I must have accidentally locked it while responding to people's questions... But when I read your response, I looked and figured out how to close/open the thread.

I'd just posted a Reply and when it came up, there was the reply AND the thread was locked. And I didn't know anyone other than moderators have that power. But Ok. I'll be more careful about that in the future.
