Maryland - A friend of mine has been charged with accessory to first degree murder. During her bond hearing, the DA presented her statement to the judge. Her attorney had not even seen the statement yet and he permitted the judge to read it before he even read it. My question is - Would that be considered as ineffective council? What is the name of your state?

A grand jury has 30 days to indite. Why would the grand jury wait until the last day to indite? And is it normal proceedings to have the inditement and prelim all on the same day?
