What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX

Husband of 28 years has filed for a divorce, he currently has changed his address to the home of his mistress of 5+ years. A couple of days ago mistress removed money through multiple transactions at the ATM. Is this legal? The account is a joint account between myself and spouse. A divorce is filed with the courts, can this be legal for this mistress to take over absolutely everything in my life to include account withdrawals in excess to temporary ordered amounts and on dates not compliant to temporary orders? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

if the withdrawals were contrary to a standing court order, it most definitely is not proper. If you have a lawyer, you need to apprise him/her of the situation asap.

If no lawyer, you need to get this in front of the court asap.

You'd have to assume that your future ex gave her permission to do it and the money would be community property so he has the authority to let her do it. So no crime has occurred but you still had your community property interest in the money too so this is the type of thing that can be dealt with through the divorce proceedings.
