Age of Consent Arkansas

Arkansas.

My son 26 was dating 17 yr. old with her mother's permission. Her mother has now accused my son of having sex with her daughter. Both have medical, mental and learning problems. Investigater took statements.

What is age of consent and should we seek attorney now?

My son was read miranda rights already when questioned by the Investigater. Girl will be 18 in one month.

These pages are very informative. They pertain to age of consent for YOUR state.

So why did the mother change her mind about her son being with his sister?
