New York.

If a person alleges that he was abused as a child more than 45 years ago and must provide corroboration, what sort of corroboration are the courts looking for?
The first thing I'd be looking into is the statute of limitations. 45 years is a LONG time ago.

Forgot to mention: Several states have created windows in the statute of limitations, allowing victims to bring civil suits in cases that could be over 50 years old. New York is considering a one-year suspension of the civil statute also. It's primarily aimed at the catholic church. But, the plaintiff must meet and prove the criminal elements he alleges in order win damages.
