ok i have a question about a friend. he was told that 2 people identified him the person who robbed a store bout he has alot of proof and alot of witnesses that put him at his house or in the nieghborhood all day that day. so that actually arrested him and charged him for it so i want to know if the only evidence that they have is a supposely eyewitness that picked him out of a picture line up can they hold him without bond with insufficent evidence? please help thank youWhat is the name of your state?

He needs a lawyer. All they need to arrest him is probable cause. He should have a superior court judge notified within 48 hours and a bond hearing scheduled.

This is serious stuff, even more so if he's innocent.
