I have two questions, both pertaining to the same crime. Without getting into details, my friend and I started a fire on accident. The cop who questioned us individually is trying to push for Arson 2, a felony. However, as I understand it, Arson requires intent. Is that true?
Secondly, the fire was started on private land. How does this affect me? How is that different from starting a fire on government land?
