My brother is up on attempted murder charges of his neighbor, but the neighbor has come up with 10 different statements and I was wondering how long does it take for the court proceedings to begin for the trial. He has an attorney but we have not heard anything from the attorney in a month. So advice please.

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

Hello??????? Why can't people stop and realize what they are doing. Just because your bro has an attorney doesn't mean you need to sit back and wait.

Call, call, stop by the attorney's office, email, fax. If this attorney doesn't keep the brother up to date on all that is happening, then perhaps changing attorneys would be a good idea.
