I issued a check, it bounced, reissued a check, it bounced again. I owe a total of 636, I made a payment to the girl for 100, i have a text message of her admitting that. She filed a police report saying i owe her 636 for the 2 bad checks, I'm getting a public defendor for 200, I can just pay the girl the rest and end this out of court the judge said, or fight it. Do I have a case? I only owe her 536
