My minor son was involved in an altercation at a public concert event and during a angered discussion for another person (an adult over 18 yrs), this other person used his chest to push my son's body in a threatening way. My son felt threatened & struck that person. Now that adult is pressing assult charges against my son. Can my son file adult charges against that person? Would that charge be simple assult or something else? Are the penalties against the adult more severe than those against my son, a minor? What do we do next?
