What is the name of your state? Idaho

On Friday night I got into a little scuffle with my sis-in-law, she called the cops, the officer wrote me a ticket but when he went out to his car to find court dates he got another call and left without giving me the ticket that I never signed. Now he keeps calling me so he can bring it over for me to sign. Am I legally required to sign it now??

yes i believe he can still ticket you, i was in a bar fight awhile back and i was ticketed one and a half months later. maybe you can get your sis inlaw to drop charges or maybe the cops won't let her. call a local attny with free initial consultation
