What is the name of your state? Virginia
I am receiving threatening emails, and have told (not asked) the person to stop emailing me twice, they have ignored that. I am not able to switch my email acct. Do I have any course of action? The threats have not been specific in nature, just that I would be sorry, and that it would be a tough battle for me. Also, I never gave this person my email address, does that count as unsolicited?

My response:

Change your email address or install a 3rd party "spam" filter, or use the spam filter within your e-mail program.

These are all fairly simple fixes.
