Missouri - My girlfriends' brother is a death row prisoner scheduled for execution mid-April. Her family wants to know if they are responsible for the burial, or if the state buries executed prisoners. I seem to remember reading something about if the state executes a prisoner, they are responsible for burying the individual and the body is not released to the family. Could someone please clarify this for us? Thanks for your help.
