That's not the way the law works. In some parts of the country, spitting on the sidewalk is a misdemeanor. Are you saying that if you spit twice, the charge now becomes felony spitting?

Yes, that's what I am asking. If you were accused of commiting two misdemeanor thefts on the same night in the same city, can they legally combine the two to charge you with a felony theft?
