If someone has been indicted for charges pressed against them. Can the victim drop charges and how? Please I need to know my brother is in jail because my neighbors heard us fightin. I am 18, and he is only 20. The last thing he needs on his record right now is a violent crime charge.
We're brothers of course we fight but this is going to far. Please someone respond ASAP!!!! Thank you sincerely.

Yes, you can drop the charges but that doesn't mean that it is the end of the story. The State can still prosecute the case ie. The People v. Brother Vaughn.
