What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Connecticut

Hello,

I'm a 16 year old and I've gotten myself into vaping. I don't use nicotine, so no bad stuff. I was wondering if a cop saw me, can he confiscate it? Will I get a fine or anything? My parents both know I do it and are fine with it. Just wondering. I've always vaped at my house or at a buddy's house.

As of October 2014, you are not allowed (as a 16 year old) to purchase or possess an e-cigarette in Connecticut. You must be at least 18. So, yes, if a police officer saw you, your e-cigarette could (and probably would) be confiscated.

Here is a link to the law, which details the penalties: http://www.cga.ct.gov/2014/ACT/PA/2014PA-00076-R00SB-00024-PA.htm
