Okay basically what happened

aparently this girl (read: woman of the night) at my brothers middle school sent nudes of herself around the school, and apparently the nudes spread like aids in africa, and kids got them at neighboring oakton highschool. anyone point of the thread. everyone who sent the nudes is getting charged with child pornography, will be a registered sex offender, and will not be able to own a gun because of commiting a felony. plus there all getting suspended and possibly expelled. the girl got off free

Now some of the people getting in trouble are highschool students. Now if one of them was 18 (example) and he was charged with distribution of Child Porn or another similar charge. Would not knowing that the pic was of an underage girl be a viable defense?
