Unless you get an attorney, you're going down for the count. I'll tell you why . . .
In States like PA, we have a two-tiered system for drivers who drink. 1) You can be arrested for Driving While Intoxicated or under the Influence (DWI #1) which is .008 and above. 2) You can be arrested or given a citation for Driving While Impaired (DWI #2) which is for .007 or below. You were cited for DWI #2.
So, even though you weren't "under the influence", your driving abilities were still "impaired" even though you don't think so. Studies show that "reaction time" to emergency situations is significantly decreased while even at a level of .003.
So, get yourself an attorney if your educational aspirations mean anything to you, and STOP driving after drinking, goddamnit!!
