can anyone tell me if there is a time limit on
filing a private criminal complaint against a community & security guard? They hancuffed my son, a minor & brought him to the office. No parental,
notification or state POlice. threatened him. Please reply asap. He also did nothing wrong , just wanted to use the phone.

The statute of limitations will apply to a private criminal complaint. However, you will need to prove that the officer's conduct was criminal. Any recourse against the community will be civil in nature.

On a related note, the officer may have been justified in using restraints depending on the circumstances. Just because he is a security officer doesn't prohibit him from it.
