Conceal carry permit question

Im in North Carolina... I have a pending misdemeaner for carrying concealed but i have taken the concealed carry class and have my certificate can i go ahead and turn it in and get my permit or what should i do?

You did not have a permit and got caught carrying a firearm. You need an attorney.

I do have a lawyer I have never been arrested or in any kind of trouble before this and have now taken the class i was just wondering if a misdemeaner will keep me from getting my permit

If you are convicted of illegal possession of a firearm then it most certainly could prevent you from getting a permit.

If it's a felony then you will not be able to legally own a pistol.
