I received a ticket in tempe by a phoenix policeman. My court date is December and it's in chandler az. Doed the judge have jurisdiction even though we are being sent to the wrong court

Chandler, AZ is in Maricopa County as are Tempe and Phoenix. So, you are being seen by the proper county judiciary. You can try and bring up jurisdictional issues at court if you were indeed cited by a Phoenix officer in Tempe, but, task forces and combined operations are common and jurisdiction in AZ extends to public offenses committed in their presence anywhere in the state, if I recall correctly.

You may want to consult an attorney if this is a big issue for you.
