Okay, I have a vague question about criminal law in a courtroom.

A friend of mine has officially been charged with negligent homicide/felonious driving. She goes to arrainment tomorrow AM and will be released on PR (we're in Michigan). I plan on going there to support her. I have never seen the inside of a courtroom and I hope I never have to again. But, what is good courtroom dress and behavior? Do's and Don'ts? Any input here? I'm nervous and I am not even the one in trouble!

My response:

You dress as if you're going to pray at your House of Worship. You sit behind the balistrade, in the "Peanut Gallery", and you keep your mouth closed at all times - - unless an official addresses you first.
