Question

crime against nature solicitation

What is the name of your state? Louisiana

I recently overheard a conversation at work about a lady who is an escort who was called for companionship by the vice squad in new orleans. The officer paid the lady for her time, then undressed, poured himself a drink, asked for a massage, asked her to massage his private area then just before performing fellatio, then called in other officers while still nude. Can the police use such tactics in order to make an arrest? Wouldn't the officer be considered as soliciting?

Think of it this way, she really should be arrested for tax evasion.

I think prostitution should be a legal business, paid by cash, checks, credit cards and fully accountable as a small business.

whiteknight,

I will be more than happy to do some serious checking into this problem for you, as I live in Lousiana. I will need the girl's work phone number, her measurements, standard fees, and a picture of her, preferably nude or semi-nude: this should round out the mandatory resources I require and I will jump right on this!! Rest assured, I will delve into this!

ok, How about this one. On some cop show on tv, I have seen some cops posing as prostitutes, and arresting the "customers."
Yet you also see cops posing as clients and arresting the prostitute. What in the law allows them to commit the illegal act and make an arrest solely on their actions?

My thought is that the letter of the law has to be followed by the investigating officer in order not to break the law. So why can the cop receive sexual favors then arrest the person. Louisiana has a law against Porstitution by massage which states :
"...the erotic stimulation of the genital organs of another by any masseur, masseuse, or any other person, whether resulting in orgasm or not, by instrumental manipulation, touching with the hands, or other bodily contact exclusive of sexual intercourse or unnatural carnal copulation, when done for money. "

I inquired further and If the police officer asked for the act to be performed by placing her hand on his genitals, why isn't he guilty of solicitation and she guilty of prostitution by massage?

Also, If she received payment at first and not as compensation for the act, how can the act be considered for compensation?

I really would like to help this person. I am taking this seriously regardless of the morality issue, as I feel that having our precious law enforcement resources on non violent crimes while people are being killed, drugs being distributed, ect. is totally ludicrous. I am concerned about children doing drugs and stealing property not as much as two concenting adults activities in a bedroom.

I am only concerned that law enforcement here in new orleans is allowed to use any means necessary to get credit for an arrest.

Why don't prostitutes use hidden microphones that broadcast to remote locations? There must be ways to get cash from a john without it being in direct exchange for sexual favors. Without the consideration, there is no chargeable prostitution. Call the fee a payment for dating the guy, conversation, whatever, so long as it is legal. Claim the sex is for free, because she likes the guy. In fact, let the guy do all the proactive stuff, like undressing her.

When the cop lies on the stand, she just has to produce the tape, and he will be found to have perjured himself.

With those questions, I have to ask... are you pimping and one of yo' girls get popped!!!
Why else would you know all the details about what she did to the officer in the privacy of that room???

How about spending some of that girls money you have and get her a local attorney rather than fishin' here for a freebie??

Why has he spent over $1.7M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

Apparently, as stated in your signature Mr JTEX, you are quite opinionated but not well educated. The questions that I have asked are about the authority that has been allegedly placed in the wrong hands if true. Also, If you read my first posting and actually comprehended it, in the allegations made by the lady that I stated, I didn't list any specific information such as value received, identifying marks or endowment. I appreciate and respect an individuals right to their opinion, but still encourage any individual to assess their opinion prior to being perceived ignorant by civilized peers.

I'd admonish you to think before making allegations about someone you don't know. Besides, The name of the web site is free advice not fishing pond.com

If you have any intelligent information to provide, I welcome your input.

Ollie,

Good point. I was thinking somewhat on the same lines as to what way could a prostitute prove a dirty cop. Who is the jury more likely to believe? A law enforcement officer or a prostitute. JTEX proves my point exactly if s/he were to be on the jury. There is a pre-conceived notion that a person accepting consideration from a john is a dirty crack whore walking a highway in fishnet stockings. I just don't think that could be true. I agree with mobopp that it should be a legal business and tax the hell out of it just as the government places excise tax on telecommunications and other select industries. It would generate more income for the government and free up the precious law enforcement resources. I heard on paul harvey one day that a company in Australia was placing their company on the stock market there which practices a "recession proof" business. Couldn't go wrong in investing in that company.

*** Pray tell, Mr Pimp. What gives you either impression simply from my signature line?? Is Ms. Cleo one of your ho's???

"The questions that I have asked are about the authority that has been allegedly placed in the wrong hands if true."
*** Nope. Your questions have absolutely NOTHING to do with authority in the wrong hands. They have EVERYTHING to do with how to try to trick your way (or your ho's to trick their way) out of being charged with a crime!

"Also, If you read my first posting and actually comprehended it, in the allegations made by the lady that I stated, I didn't list any specific information such as value received, identifying marks or endowment."
*** I never said that they did. I only commented on YOUR post in that you say that you overheard all this while 'at work'. So, you were either in the other room, waiting to heist the John, or the ho told you her version of what happened. The information you provided is NOT something that is just talked about around the old water cooler! Unless it is filled with Malt.

"I appreciate and respect an individuals right to their opinion, but still encourage any individual to assess their opinion prior to being perceived ignorant by civilized peers."
*** Wow, you must have had a lot of help with that one, huh?? Sorry, but I really don't worry about the opinions of pimps.

"I'd admonish you to think before making allegations about someone you don't know. Besides, The name of the web site is free advice not fishing pond.com"
*** Oh, gee. I feel so bad.... I have been 'admonished' by a pimp!!
How low I must be to be 'slapped' by the lowest of society??

So, let me tell you why your entire post is full of so much BS************** and I speak from personal experience. Anytime that a "John operation" is done, there are LOTS of backups and both video and audio recordings made!!! This is done both for the protection of the officer and to aid in the conviction of the subject. An officer never, EVER goes out and does this on his own with only his word against the ho's!! The risks to everyone are simply too great.

So, quit wasting our time with your imaginary posts.... and get your pimp hat on straight!!

I thought in your original post that you were actually questioning the wrong portion of the anatomy of AN authority in someone's hands...allegedly, of course.
