Ok here's the scoop, I wanna know if this is intimidation or the real thing. I was a truckdriver for a contractor at Georgia Pacific Big Island in Virginia. As of august 4th 2008 I no longer work for that contractor. my job was to move trailers around. while I was there, I supposedly photographed the river and a few buildings (which could be seen from the highway as well which is public.) I also supposedly videotaped 2 elevators in 2 buildings there and posted the photos to flickr and the videos to youtube.com. There is a sign at the gate that says "alchohol, drugs, weapons, cameras are prohibited on property, violators will be considered trespassing and escorted off the property." Well today I get a phone call from their southeast regional security manager and he wants to meet me. I meet him at McDonald's. He informs me that I need to take down my photos and videos if i want to avoid a charge of criminal trespassing. Here's the issue. this is over a month after I was on property, I was never spoken to WHILE I WAS on property about my camera. None of the photos involved trade secrets. Is this legal what he is doing or is it just intimidation. Nobody ever actually saw me with my camera, just the photos and videos on a photo and video sharing website that anybody can upload to. Since anybody can upload content, how can they prove that it was actually me that took or uploaded those pictures?

The way Georgia Pacific found out in the first place is another story in itself. You see, people in Big Island VA are VERY narrow minded and intolerant and they believed me to be gay due to some of the content on my website and my mannerism. I am not gay but that is beside the point. I can almost guarantee that a certain employee in the scale house who frequents my website or so I heard made the call and gave them my personal information, which to me is an invasion of privacy as well. While I worked there, I was also falsely accused of vandalizing property and sleeping on the job, as well, the GP staff regularly talked down to me and called me "a q***r". I was in the bathroom at the scale house one time and overheard the scale operator telling one of my co-workers that they were going to find a way to get me fired because she did not want to deal with my gay a** . anyway. I got so sick of the way I was treated up there. so I quit and figured i could put that place behind me. and now they are harassing me about a website that may or may not even contain my content? this is ridiculous. I am getting tired of thisa I had to put up with enough harassment while I worked there and now that I am gone, they are still harassing me. could I consider this guy's visit harassment and how can they prove that it was even me that took the photos? if i am ever contacted by Georgia Pacific about this or any other issue unless I contact them first, I am gonna file a civil harassment case against Georgia Pacific. I will also file a complaint with the EEOC about the unethical treatment I received while working there which is clearly illegal and against EEOC Rules. All I want is for Georgia Pacific to leave me alone. I have better things to do with my life but if they harass me, I guess this is the only way to stop it.. Gotta love UNETHICAL big business! thanks in advance for any advice.:confused:
