**A: what is the exact and specific charge? What did he do and is he a minor? Was the trespass on private or government property? Was he warned beforehand not to trespass by the property owner or managing agent?

He is 20, a young woman he has been dating invited him to stay overnite at her reisdence. They had an argument, he broke two panes of glass from the garage door. They settled their problems, " kissed and made up". In the morning he spoke with her mother and made arrangements to pay for the windows. At about 3 pm the young woman left to pick up a few things at the store. The police arrived about 15 minutes later and questioned him and the young womans mother about the call they had received. The mother told the police she had not called and didn t want to press charges. The police advised my son to leave because something was " odd" here. He picked up his bag and left on foot. Two blocks from the residence the police flagged him down and told him the young woman had returned and that she was pressing charges. He says that neither the young woman nor her mother had asked him to leave.

**A: give us a break, that's not the true and complete story. Tell your son he is a liar and that we all wish him luck. He's gonna need it.

In Georgia it is also considered criminal trespass, when someone damages someone's property in an amount of $500 or less. It is a misdemeanor.

He could get up to 12 months in jail and/or up to $1000 fine.
