What is the name of your state? NC

A detective called me at work the other day regarding a case that he's been investigating involving a former employer.

He did not want to reveal to me the nature of the questioning, he says he has some things he wants to show me and to go over it with me. I'm not confident meeting with the detective, I do not trust my former employer. When I left my former employer, there was some commissions owed to me and they failed to pay me - and now there is some investigation. I do not want to meet the detective without an attorney.

What should I do?
