What is the name of your state? Oklahoma

I've had problems with a neighbor who is constantly playing loud music and having parties with large numbers of people hanging out in her front lawn. This goes on usually between 11p.m. and 4a.m. at least twice a week. I've called the police and they have been out several times. I've talked to several neighbors, but they're afraid to get involved. Last night the music started again and there were several people drinking on the front lawn. I called the police, they said they could write her a ticket, disturbing the peace, if I would sign the report, so I did. They went to give her a ticket, after a few minutes, the police are escorting her handcuffed to the police car, turns out she was drunk and not very open for suggestions. The police then notified me that I may have to appear in court. What can I expect when that happens? Did they arrest her on the disturbing the peace complaint, or was it due to her being drunk and disorderly? Help!!!

Being as no one on this forum is psychic and don't have a clue what the police reports says, we can't answer your question.

let me simplify my question. Is it the law in Oklahoma, that when someone is written a ticket for disturbing the peace, they are arrested?

*** No. The decision to arrest or cite a subject is largely the decision of the officer after considering many factors (risk to others, seriousness of the charge, likelihood of flight, etc.).

You Are Guilty

Speak for yourself. I'm packing up my crystal ball and leaving. Harumph.
