What is the name of your state?

The Boomer Sooner State, Oklahoma

Stupidity has haunted me the last 5 years, and I've decided to take care of a bad check I wrote in 1999 for $1800.00. My question is, do I need an attorney, or can I take care of this without being arrested by calling the DA in the county that I wrote the check? I live out of state now and am hoping I don't have to return.............Does anyone have any advice on the best way to handle this?
