What is the name of your state?
massachusetts

sorry for the extra post...

but at one point in the night of underage drinking at the hotel.. we were seen by the hotel manager (beers in hand) he knew the room was purchased by an underage girl (19) as an innkeeper in massachusetts should he have called the police before this hotel room could be trashed... would he be facilitating the underage drinking?

It appears you are coming up with lame excuses for your girlfriends other problem. Even if the manager was found guilty of "facilitating the underage", it does not release your GF of the liability for her actions, ie, allowing damage to occur to a hotel room she was renting.

thanks for the info

we know we are responsible for the damage... its just when we had the meeting with the manager it sounds like he is planning on renovating the whole room on our dime for damage that was already done to the room before we walked into the room (i.e different stains across the room on the floor) they are obviously not from the previous night... im trying to find as much leverage as possible, im sure it is going to be around a grand for fixing our damage.. but it seems like he is looking to do a face lift on the room... ill pay for my damage but he is going to try and have us pay for the whole job.

is there any weight to a facilitating minors consumption of alcohol charge? if we have to bring up a counter suit
