Eligibility to gain entry into USA

Hello

Last year I was convicted of Sexual Assault against a woman in her 30's. Didn't have to go to prison but am on a Sex Offenders Programme at the moment. I have never been in trouble with the authorities before this. But does this mean that I shall never be allowed to visit USA either for a holiday or to live there in the future. I have family who live in Las Vegas.
