What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

Couple questions.

Is hacking emails illegal? Resetting passwords and reanswering test questions to get in?

I heard that Norton can tell you where you last logged in and all that but if it was from another computer will it work? I need some help here.

Thanks!

It'd be a violation of 33.02 of the Texas Penal Code. The punishment range depends on the damage caused or value gained (if any) and can vary anywhere from a class B misdemeanor up to a first degree felony. There are also applicable federal statutes as well.

Start with the police.
Ordered subpoenas to accts for for IPA activity.
Then if warranted to DA's.
Thats it in a nutshell.
It can get you into a bind to say the least.
