What is the name of your state? Nebraska

It has been over 4 years since a particular individual was fired from the bank that they worked at for allegedly embezzeling over $60,000.00. Is there a statute of limitations for this offense?

Statute of limitations for that would be three years. However, statute of limitations only applies to the time before prosecution commences (charges are filed, etc...) not the trial. Further, the statute is "tolled" (I.e., the clock is stopped) if the offender leaves the state.
