Just have a question,From a friend If someone files embezzlement charges against you.can he drop charges against you. Or is this out of his hands and he can't do nothing . Even though this a family member.

I would say there is about a 50-50 chance.

The government can continue the prosecution of a criminal offense even if the victim does not want it anymore. Familial relationships have nothing to do with it.
