What is the name of your state? Florida

I am in a relationship that has become verbally and physically abusive. I am leaving, but I want to press charges, but these always occur when no one is around and he is careful not to leave any marks. The question I have is whether it is legal for me to record our conversations, both privately or on the phone?

Thank you.

not without his permission.

Florida is a two-party state. Which means, each party to the conversation must give consent.

Just leave.

Great!! Now, if you can tell us what that has to do with FLORIDA, and the OP'S QUESTION it would be highly entertaining.
