My state is NJ. In 2005 I was convicted of a felony (eluding police) 3rd degree. i wonder how long it takes to expunge( ive heard 10 years, but is it 10 years from the time i get off probation? or 10 years from the time I was convicted)...is there any reason i wouldn't be able to? Is their any i can change the conviction? take it back to court (this I doubt) but you never know...

Listen dude. This is a bulletin board not a live chat room. Operators are not standing by to take your call. Come back tomorrow.

It is ten years from the time you finish probation.
It doesn't look like yours is one of the offenses barred from expungment.

At this point modifying the conviction isn't going to happen.
