What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I live in New York and one night after coming back from the bars a police officer confiscated my fake ID. I am 20 years old and the name of the violation is offer/sells license/reg/plates (misd.) Under additional information it says defendant found to be in possession of a forged license. I am appearing in Vestal Town Ct. in Broome County next Thursday regarding the ticket. I was just wondering what kind of legal ramifications I will face because of this and whether it will be something that will stay on my record for the rest of my life.
