false information on medical history form

Concerned about confidentially, I did not tell my dentist about my health condition (hepatitis...contagious through blood to blood contact). I was paranoid because people in his office new people from my same company.

I would like to let him know (however health care workers do take precautions)just to clear my conscience. I am concerned that the he could take legal action. Could he?

Suggestions....find a new dentist or be straight and come clean or don't worry about it?
