False police repoet

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

OK I FILED A POLICE REPORT IN NORTH CAROLINA BUT THE CAR WAS REALLY STOLE IN NEW YORK BY MY BOYFRIEND COUSIN WHAT SHOULD I DO AND I DONT KNOW HIS NAME OR ANYTHING. WHAT PENITY DO I FACE???

No penalty unless you get caught. How could they possibly know what you know unless you tell them. Listen carefully--- " I have nop knowledge of any criminal activity". Remember this sentence if questioned by the police. goodluck.
