A friend of mine husband took a plea bargin on federal fraud charges. He claimed that he took the guilty plea to prevent her from going to jail. He is now in jail serving 52 months and he has completed about two years of his sentence. Apparently, my friend and her husband are about to get a divorce and he told her that he was taking his plea bargin back. Also, he told her that she will be arrested because she was is wife and benefit from his crimes. Is this true? She has two kids to take care of and is simply devasted. What are her options?
