I was convicted of Felony Theft in Texas aprrox. 4 years ago. I recieved 7 years of probation. Since My arrests I have had several jobs at good companies claiming to do background checks and nothing has ever shown up. I have recently moved to Michigan and the first three jobs I have been to it showed on all checks. I guess I have three questions.
1. Why would it not show in TX but show in MI
2. Is there anyway to get this cleared after I finish probation in three years. Any type pf expungment. Can a lawyer help me?
3. Is it possible to get out of probation early to join Military?
I have searched several threads and have found no difinative answer as of yet.
I have never been in trouble or arrested outside of the one charge I mentioned above.
